Write Direction Consulting is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is owned and operated by Kelly Stimpert. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Georgia and a Master of Public Health from Georgia State University. She has been employed as a consultant and communicator for more than 25 years. Her experience includes working as a communication and marketing consultant, health communication specialist, technical writer, and clinical writer.

Kelly’s experience includes creating and publishing a wide variety of communication products. In partnership with subject matter experts across the country, she has produced:

• Original scientific and technical content, including peer-reviewed publications, webpages, policy documents, and presentations.

• Communication plans, needs assessments, and branded messages across audiences.

• Strategic plans, including recommendations for process improvements.

• Accredited continuing medical education units.

Kelly has also written and published a number of manuscripts about lesser-known diseases in the United States and the marginalized populations affected by these infections. She has served as an expert reviewer for peer-reviewed journals and has offered technical assistance to grant recipients of cooperative agreements. She began Write Direction to leverage her diverse background to optimize the communication products of her clients.
